Worship Service

Without the participation of a community of faith, worship remains words on a page; unsung notes, unspoken prayers and uneaten bread.

Worship is an expression of gratitude and praise that is created by the people of God, for God.

One of the most important things we do as a church and as a community is worship. We gather each week as the body of Christ and exalt the name of the Lord. We listen for God’s Word which comes to us through songs, scriptures and sermons.

Worship is a moment-by moment lifestyle of surrendered enjoyment of and obedience to God. The Church has historically gathered together on Sundays to celebrate Christ’s Resurrection. While we offer a variety of worship styles, we desire for every Sunday service to be an environment where:

  • Jesus Christ is Lord
  • The Holy Spirit inspires
  • People respond to God’s Word
  • We go forth into the world to serve

We respond to the Word with our heads, our hearts and our hands through the giving of our offerings and the renewal of our commitment to
serve God in the world.

We would love to have you worship with us on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday!
